Practicing in Challenging Times
Tools for working with difficult emotions
Difficult situations are inevitable, life can sometimes feel so overwhelming. How can we face and work with emotions like anxiety, anger, sadness etc. in a healthy way, without repressing them, and without falling under their power?
In this workshop we will explore Buddhist teachings which give us tangible tools to put into practice so we can do just that. One does not have to be Buddhist to benefit from this ancient tradition which is as fresh and relevant as ever.
Before meeting these teachings I so often felt powerless in the face of difficult emotions. Putting these teachings into practice over the last twenty years, one small step at a time, hasn’t always been easy, but it has been so incredibly beneficial.
I’m so happy to be able to share what has worked, and continues to work for me, with you.
We will alternate between shorter teaching sessions and practice sessions so we can begin, or continue deepening our capacity to actually put the teachings into practice.
If you are unable to participate live the session will be recorded and the link sent out Saturday evening.
