Serenity by the river at the ashram – a place to reflect and reconnect.

Ammaji and participants feeding the ashram’s beloved cows.
The ashram is at about 1250 m above sea level , Gangotri is at about 3200m, so the weather can be anything from quite warm to hot (during daytime) and quite cold (at nighttime and in Gangotri).
If your timing permits it, I recommend you to spend a few days (1- 4 days) in Rishikesh (DED airport) before of after going on retreat. It’s nice to break the journey, and very worth to explore the vivid capital of Yoga at the feet of the Himalaya. Part of the group could even meet there.
